Wow. I can’t believe it – Michael Jackson dead at age 50. So very sad to hear. He was a pop icon in my childhood and still in my adult life. I just couldn’t believe the news was true. We lost a legend of the music world. Despite all the problems that Michael Jackson had, nobody can deny the contribution he gave to music, and dance. He will be very, very missed and there will be no one like him again! Rest in peace King of Pop.

Also, in other Megan Fox news, London schoolboy Harvey was snubbed by Megan Fox at the London premiere of Transformers when he tried to hand Fox a yellow rose. And now, it seems that the rejection by beauty Fox may well be the luckiest thing to ever happen to Harvey because he has been offered a trip to Los Angeles to meet her.
So I finally got my N97 after waiting 3 weeks.
My first impressions:
- Screen is beautiful
- Excellent Camera (Carl Zeiss lens)
- The sliding mechanism is very good for keyboard (full QWERTY keypad)
- A full web browser (supports flash and javascript)
- UI is kinda slow
- E-mail reading not the greatest (maybe software upgrade will make it better)
- keypad layout will take some time to get used too (especially space-bar and enter button)
- faster CPU and more RAM would have been nice (currently 420 MHz, 128 RAM)
- Double-tap feature to open programs is annoying (once to select, once to open)
- BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: The phone is not yet supported on the Mac!!!
I should mention that I’ve only had the phone for 2 days, so there’s a lot to learn. It’s not that user-friendly like the Apple iPhone.
